Gatwick Airport Directions by Car
London Gatwick Airport is located approximately 28 miles to the south of the capital. The major motorway route than runs past the airport and joins with the M25 (London Orbital) is the M23 motorway. The M23 runs from London to Brighton.
Reaching junction 9 of the M23, by car, from the M25 will take approximately 10 minutes depending on the volume of vehicles on the road. From junction 9 you will arrive at the South Terminal first. The North Terminal is no more than 2 minutes further on.
Both the North and South Terminals offer on-site long term and short term car parks. 24-hour petrol stations are available at both the North and South Terminal.
If you are planning to stay overnight at a Gatwick hotel before of after your flight simply search and compare all the available options.
